It was in 2019 when I was still working in a company called “Injazat Data Systems” in UAE. They held an annual gathering event, and I was invited. The company’s CEO started presenting achievement awards to the performing employees, and I was one of them. That was the first time I ever received an award from the CEO himself.
I learned that recognition is a crucial element that boosts an employee’s morale and working spirit. Working for the company for ten years allowed me to acquire new skills, work with different clients, and receive appreciation letters. Looking back, I understand that my profile garnered more attention on LinkedIn and gained many connections due to this achievement. Moreover, it also helped in grabbing new job opportunities.
These new opportunities brought challenges and pushed my limits further to become a better professional. This award will instill more confidence and responsibility in me and remind me that continuous learning is essential in every phase of life.
